About Rabbits!
How long do Rabbits Live?
Spayed or neutered rabbits kept indoors with proper care may have a lifespan of 8 to 12 years, with mixed-breed rabbits typically living longer than purebred specimens, and dwarf breeds having longer average lifespans than larger breeds. The world record for longest-lived rabbit is 18 years.
Are Rabbits dirty?
Rabbits are immaculately clean, and, once they have matured and are spayed/neutered, they go to great lengths not to soil their living quarters. They will readily use a litter box and if the box is cleaned or changed daily, there is no offensive odor.
Rabbits diet:
The single most important component of a rabbit’s diet is grass hay, which should be provided, free-choice, daily. Rabbit pellets should be given only in very limited quantities.
